Is there documentation of Iris Murdoch having said or written this apart from the movie? One scholar who knew her said it sounded like her, but he did not know of a source for it. Any help on this would be appreciated.

I couldn't agree more. I'm a big fan of the 90/10 rule for working with adult learners. One of the biggest challenges I regularly face is the "magic pill" stakeholders expect from training and development initiatives. They focus on the 10% and have a hard time sharing responsibility for the other 90%.

Nice post/podcast. Keep them coming!

Dear Aviv,
Your message on the "Regeneration of America" was really very inspiring to me. I hope a lot of other people are moved by it in a similar way. Thank you.

I agree, MNCs are the new world powers that are learning to be socially, environmentally (BP), and even politically responsible. While nations struggle, mired in politics, MNCs are indeed becoming the pillars of American/global regeneration, and the examples of engines for positive progress. They understand the importance of global, multicultural, multilingual perspectives, and therefore are already honing their skills in collaboration, and innovation, and refining their purpose.

Powerful, truthful, inspirational.
Thanx Aviv.

Yes Wendy! Removing the "do not disturb" sign is what we all have to do to allow growth, new ideas and innovation to find us.
Here is the <a href="http://www.avivshahar.com/the-next-frontier-for-leadership-development/" rel="nofollow">post about the five intelligences </a>you were looking for.

Great to meet you yesterday, Aviv.
Thanks for forwarding this article.

I particularly value #3.
Sounds like a lack of ideas is caused by the "do not disturb" sign of being too busy to capture. I'll take that sign off my door.

Gratefully, W!
